Lunch for two for $8.99 +tax A decent variety of selections Friendly, fast service (anything with mayo they pile it on, so watch out & skip their jerk sauce) A large pita is filling enough without any of their offered sides Not bad.

Approximately 1:15pm on a Sunday (they opened at 11am) my boyfriend and I entered Mr. Pita. Three women were waiting for their food, as we perused the menu. After about 10 minutes the lone employee greeted us. As we ordered and gave him our Entertainment Book coupon he stated "I hate these things," to which I replied "well, it brought us in, I can't tell you the last time I went to Mr. Pita." We ordered two sandwiches and asked for a basket of fries. The employee responded "I can't do fries today, it'll take about a half hour for the oven to warm up," so we asked for a bowl of soup, which he couldn't give us either... Stating "I haven't had time, I've been busy since I opened the doors this morning." Our sandwiches were made relatively quickly, and they were okay.. Not terrible... Not that good either. I'd advise Mr. Pita Man to arrive to work a little earlier in future, and perhaps he'd have time to turn an oven knob on, and to pour soup into the warmer... And not to complain to customers about their coupons..

Love this place! Just moved to Michigan last month and found Mr. Pita on EAT24. I've been ordering online weekly and have tried several items - Chicken Fajita Pita, Falafel, Pasta Salad, White Chicken Chili and the Jerk Chicken Pita ---- love them all! The delivery drivers are always warm and friendly and my order always arrive within 30 minutes. Healthy, fresh and delish!

Poorly operated. Go to 15 mile and van dyke or 16 and Rochester instead. Horrible staff that seems to be laughing at you. Food and deals are about the same anywhere. The building is old so it seems dirtier than it is. Staff speaks to each other in an Indian dialect. Made me uncomfortable as they were having a good time but not including me the only patron in the store. If suggest another location if at all possible or go with jimmy johns across the street.

Truly Slow as molasses on a cold Sunday morning....one guy running back and forth from counter to kitchen :-( Maybe it isn't always fair to write review based off of a single experience, but as long as it took dude to make my food, I had time to write most of this review. Not good. Plus "they" say First impressions are everything so here goes... When I entered there was one customer at the counter and another seated on the bench.. the lone staff person was in the kitchen. After a few moments he came out and gave the guy who was seated his order and took the order of the lady standing at the counter and also mine. Then he goes in the kitchen to make our stuff. Then another customer comes in and tells him she is picking up a pre--placed order. So he stops with our food order to take care of hers. Finally when he is done with her he goes back to ours. Then he brings our orders out together which means he made her wait while he made mine instead of bringing it right out to her. He was very polite and obviously doing the best he could. I cannot at all fault him for their lack of staff/scheduling issue/whatever... However, it now makes me wonder about potential sanitation issues as he frequently switches between the counter, handling money and going to the kitchen. I am assuming & Hoping that he uses gloves, but still... And on top of all that my jerk chicken pita was bland :-( I hadn't been to a Mr Pita in years and their menu has changed quite a bit. The menu seems a lot more appealing and has greater variety. Still, not sure if I will have a taste for them again anytime soon considering my experience today...

This Mr Pita's is awful. Went there for lunch (before the busy rush). The girl at the register informed me she was new which was fine, but the lady in the back was constantly yelling at her as she's trying to ring my order up. One of the things she yelled at her was if she charged me for my feta that I added. The girl did & said yes, so I know is was the lady in the backs fault not the new girl in the front. The kicker is I get back to work ready to eat the pita & there's no feta. While she was so concerned if I paid for it, she didn't even put it on. I think I'll go to a different location from now on.
